Issue 106 of Position magazine is on its way to subscribers.

Like the rest of the world, we have been rapidly adapting to the new reality of life under Covid-19 — and issue 106 will reflect this new order.

We sit down with Gary Costa of MapData Services to go behind the scenes on the spatial dataset informing key agencies’ response to the pandemic.

David Jones, Foundation Professor of Planning & Landscape Architecture at Deakin University chats with us about how technology could be enabling a more effective response to the outbreak, and attendant risks of such an approach in times such as these.

We hear from Nick Borroz on the roles for professional services in Australia’s booming space sector, and get hands-on with a rigorous test of AUSPOS capability in NSW.

These exclusive features and many more await subscribers to Position magazine, the only Australasia-wide independent publication for surveying and spatial sciences.
