NZIS Conference will deliver the wow factor

By on 11 September, 2012

Often it’s new tools and fresh ideas that encourage innovation and create the ‘wow’ factor that helps survey and spatial professionals get ahead. Indeed, this ‘wow’ factor is what the NZIS Conference is planning to deliver at Invercargill, New Zealand in late October.

With the theme ‘Connecting Spatially’, planned workshops and presentations will cover a wide range of interesting topics including where GIS technology is heading with Geodesign, Cloud and Mobile, the latest LIDAR techniques and processing to produce high density 3D point models, visualisation and presentation tools, cloud computing, cadastral survey, and the latest trends in urban design.

The conference is being held 25-28 October in Invercargill. Known as the hub of Southland region, the city is close to some of the most majestic and spectacular scenery in the country including remote beaches and rugged mountains.
