Trimble has announced several product upgrades at INTERGEO 2011, including a new, 64-bit version of its Trident Analyst software, as well as additions to its survey portfolio.
The new version of its terrestrial mobile mapping office software, Trident Analyst 4.7, is designed to interpret high-resolution digital images and large point clouds, and automatically extract features from Trimble’s MX Mobile Mapping and Survey systems.
The new version of the software takes advantage of the additional random access memory offered by 64-bit operating systems to enable loading and handling of very large terrestrial mobile mapping datasets, including production-size point cloud data. 64-bit processing allows users to load, display, edit and analyse billions of points and thousands of high-resolution digital images.
The latest version also incorporates new quality control tools for the review of positional and orientation accuracy, and quick validation of boresight parameters and registration results using passive objects in the mapping environment. It also introduces new 3D point cloud classification capabilities.
The new additions to Trimble’s survey portfolio include:
- S6 Robotic Total Station with Trimble VISION Technology
- M3 Total Station with Trimble Access Field Software
- GeoExplorer GeoXR Network Rover
- Business Center Software version 2.60
- Access Field Software Developers Kit (SDK)
