Perth-based aerial mapping provider nearmap.com recently announced that it has appointed four Australian digital business veterans to an advisory board.
The digital business advisory board will help nearmap.com maximise revenue opportunities, specifically pertaining to content monetisation, distribution and mobile strategies.
The board consists of:
- Cliff Rosenberg – MD of LinkedIn Australia & NZ and former MD of Yahoo! Australia & NZ.
- Stephen Langsford – Founder and Executive Chairman of Quickflix.
- Rob Antulov – Partner at Hall Capital Strategies, a media and technology corporate advisory firm.
- David McGrath – Director of Group Content for APN News & Media, formerly Head of News & Sport at Telstra BigPond and Yahoo!7.
In announcing the advisory board, nearmap.com CEO Simon Crowther said the company was at a critical juncture following a period of growth.
“We’re ready to take the next step in the development of nearmap.com and felt it would be a smart move to boost our stocks in terms of skills, experience and contacts in key areas of international digital business development.”
He said the nearmap.com advisory board members boasted considerable digital industry planning expertise, with respective track records in growing and scaling digital businesses.
