Perth-based survey and spatial firm MNG has upgraded its fleet with a new mobile laser scanning system, to be based on the east coast.
MNG has announced that it has finalised acquisition of a new mobile laser scanning system, the new Riegl VMX-2HA.
The firm says that the new rig will be based on the east coast, and being a vehicle-based system, permits surveys to occur without road closures, and with increased safety for its surveyors.
MNG Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director Mr Scott Anderson said the new system can produce dense, accurate and feature-rich data with multiple camera systems for precisely georeferenced images, capturing detailed and reliable data for pavement analysis and crack indexing.
“With a determination to remain at the forefront of mobile laser scanning technology in Australia, investing in people and innovation remains a key pillar of our overall growth strategy,” he said.
MNG anticipates delivery in November 2020.
