Spatial Source is pleased to announce the appointment of Candice Stannard as our new national advertising sales manager.
Candice has worked in media sales for many years and comes to the role with a wide experience of helping technology clients connect with their markets and new customers.
“We’re very glad to welcome Candice aboard,” said Simon Cooper, publisher of Spatial Source. “Her depth of experience and enquiring mind makes her ideal for this role. We know she’s going to be a great success.”
Candice has previously worked in media sales in the fields of sustainability and the environment, information technology, industrial safety and more.
“I’m so excited to be joining the geospatial sector,” she said. “Already in my first couple of weeks, I’ve come to appreciate how vital this sector is to Australian society and the country’s future.”
“I look forward to getting to know our advertising clients, current and new, and helping them to reach out to our readers with their success stories and solutions.”
Spatial Source’s editor, Jonathan Nally, says the channel has been going from strength to strength since it was rescued from the aftermath of the collapse of the Geospatial Council of Australia.
“I like to think of Spatial Source as the ‘watering hole’ for the sector, where people can contribute, read and share the latest information and developments in the field,” he said.
“With a greatly expanded audience reach of approximately 8,000 professionals across Australia and the region — from GIS analysts to hydrographers, from surveyors to Earth observation specialists — we feel we are the best-placed channel for geospatial companies and organisations to reach potential customers and users.”
If your business or organisation has a product, service or solution to offer and you want to connect with the Spatial Source audience, please reach out to Candice via cstannard@intermedia.com.au.
Spatial Source is Australia’s trusted, independent source of news and views for the geospatial sector. With daily updates on our website and a twice-weekly newsletter (Wednesday and Friday), we reach the widest audience of geospatial professionals in Australia and around the region.
