The deadline for submission of abstracts and workshop/Hub ideas for the Locate22 conference has been extended to midnight AEDT, Thursday, 10 February.

In an announcement, the organisers said that “We understand that January has been a difficult time for many individuals and businesses and we hope this additional time for submissions will ease some pressure”.

Organisers have also issued a reminder that the Super Early Bird registration rate, which attracts a saving of 10%, is closing soon. There are only a limited number of this discounts available, and they are restricted to full conference members (including young professionals) and delegates.

The organising committee says that it is “working hard behind the scenes to ensure Locate22 will be a safe and enjoyable face-to-face event”.

“We understand you may have reservations in registering to attend based on the current COVID-19 situation, however, rest assured that if the event is cancelled or postponed you will have the option to roll over your registration to the new conference dates or request a full refund.”
