Members of Australia and New Zealand’s spatial community are being encouraged to help grow the sector by taking part in the Inclusion@Work Index survey.
The Index will help to establish a baseline to understand the current state of diversity and inclusion within the industry, thereby helping to build upon its present base.
The deadline for completing the survey has been extended to 24 September 2021. It should take no more than 15 minutes to complete.
Lots of people have already completed the survey, but the organisers are asking for many more people from across the industry to take part.
Don’t think that your voice is not important — it is vital that the widest possible cross-section of industry members participates so that a true picture of the state of diversity and inclusion can be put together.
You can find the survey on the 2026 Agenda website.
It’s not known how many people work in the space, spatial and surveying sectors, but it has been estimated there are as many as 25,000 professionals spread across the two countries.
Once all the data has been collated, a public report will be released towards the end of 2021that will provide an evidence base for the industry to understand key trends and opportunities to promote inclusive workplaces.
