GITA 2012 kicks off

The 17th Annual Geospatial Solutions Conference (GITA 2012) kicked off this week in Melbourne, with more than 300 delegates coming together to discuss this year’s theme, “From Fundamentals to the Future – Managing Assets Spatially”
 
The program will focus on Asset Systems, Smart Metering / Smart Grid, SCADA and Loss Detection systems, Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE), Integration of Geospatial with major business systems, Mobility devices and applications, Data Management, CAD to GIS, Remote Sensing applications, Research and Development in geospatial technologies.
 
GITA 2012 is being held from 6-8 August 2012 at the Sofitel, Victoria, Australia, and is being hosted by the Geospatial Information & Technology Association Australia & New Zealand.
