GeoNext conference

The organisers of the 2015 GeoNext conference have announced that the SSSI Victorian Spatial Summit and the GeoNext 2015 conference will join forces to provide a single event at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on August 19th.

There will be two concurrent streams at the event: a surveying-focused stream covering contemporary local, national and international issues; as well as the intelligent location and smart spatial solutions stream.

As such, a second call for papers for GeoNext – exclusively for SSSI Members – has been announced, and will close on May 1st 2015. Presentation topics to be included in the program include:

  • Transport
  • Intelligent Transport Systems
  • Smart Cities
  • Sensorisation, Ubiquitous hyperlocal sensors
  • The role of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)
