Early bird registration is now open for the joint Locate25 and FIG Working Week 2025 geospatial conference to be held in Brisbane from 6 to 10 April.

The combined conferences are expected to bring together almost 2,000 delegates from all around the world, for an unmissable opportunity for information sharing, learning and networking.

Overall, the event will see:

  • Almost 2,000 international and national attendees
  • 70+ sessions
  • 80+ countries represented
  • Dedicated networking opportunities
  • An extensive exhibition area

The overall theme will be ‘Collaboration, Innovation and Resilience: Championing a Digital Generation’.

The early bird registration deadline is 4 February (Australian time), with the standard registration period running from then until 4 March. After that, a late registration rate will apply.

The difference between the late and early bird registration amounts to $565, so it’s definitely worth getting in early if you can.

There are also heavily discounted rates for young delegates and accompanying people.

Plus there are separate registration options for special pre- and post-event activities, such as a Young Surveyors’ Conference, an ICESat-2 data workshop, and a Climate Masterclass workshop.

A range of very affordable technical and social tour options is also available, including visits to North Stradbroke Island, Queensland’s Lands Surveying and Mapping Museum, and a technical walking tour focused on the upcoming Olympic Games to be held in Brisbane in 2032.

Registration can be completed via the online registration page.
