Friday’s STEADx tickets now free

Event organisers have announced that attendance at this Friday’s STEADx event is now FREE, provided that you register online at www.qssa.com.au/steadx to secure your seat. STEADx will be presented Friday November at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The aim of the event is to enable professionals within the spatial industry to be able to learn from and network with many of the presenters at STEADx as well as networking with peers and exhibitors alike. Those who are currently not working within the spatial industry will be able to attend and learn just how important our industry and innovation is to the community.

For those who wish to view the event live on-line there will be a small cost of $50 to cover the technology but as an added benefit all who sign up for this option will be provided with a full edited version of the event proceedings

  • Architecture Of The Mind – Ralph Spencer Steenblik, The Pratt Institute, USA
  • How spatial technology is revolutionising sport – Patrick Gibson, Director, Golf Technologies, Head Professional at Palmer Coolum Resort
  • Unmanned Aerial Systems – Dr Catherine Ball , Queensland Telstra Business Woman of the Year 2015 and AFR BOSS Young Executive of the Year 2015.
  • Disrupting Conventional Business Models – David Smith, Entrepreneur, Author, Founder of Motize
  • BIM On An Iconic Scale – Bob Moffat, Manager, Building Strategy & Sustainability, Sydney Opera House
  • From ‘Sweat’ to ‘Sweet’ (by turning physical activity data into a chocolate) – Rohit Ashok Khot, PhD Candidate and IBM PhD fellow in the Exertion games lab, at RMIT Australia

 

As well as leading industry speakers on show there will be a fantastic, interactive exhibition featuring; C.R. Kennedy, Queensland Survey Pegs (QSP), David Smith’s book launch, UPG, Australian Institute of Mine Surveyors (AIMS), Carlson Software, The Brainary, Trimble, Saunders Havill Group, University of Southern Queensland (USQ), The QSSA and more to announce!
