CR Kennedy held a UAV show in Sydney this week, which will soon be travelling across the country.

The show featured the latest innovations from UAV manufacturers UAVER and Aibotix (recently acquired by Hexagon), using both fixed-wing and rotary systems, with a range of sensors, including videos streaming live from the roaming UAVs.

Presentations at the event covered current pressing issues such as CASA requirements, service and maintenance, training, and post-processing of data.

“Practical demonstration sessions are the only way to really get the feel of this extraordinary technology,” said Robert Kennedy, director at CR Kennedy. “Our qualified and experienced staff will be on-hand at the UAV air shows to answer any of your technical and practical questions while you mingle with industry peers.”

The Air Show will travel across Australia for the following dates:

Melbourne: 6 March 2014, The Rosanna Golf Club, 54 Cleveland Ave, Lower Plenty VIC 3093

Perth: 11 March 2014, Joondalup Resort, Country Club Blvd, Connolly WA 6027

Adelaide: 18 March 2014, AAMI Stadium Function Complex, Turner Drive, West Lakes SA 5021

Brisbane: 20 March 2014, Saint Lucia Golf Links, Carawa St, St Lucia QLD 4067

Attendance is free, and refreshments are provided, but registration is required.
