The Australian Space Agency is calling for the national space industry to give input on intended near-term missions.

Australia’s national space agency has opened a consultation process, within which it seeks the local space sector’s perspective on intended or desired space missions in the near future.

The agency aims to establish a database of Australian payloads, and use the feedback to design future funding opportunities, such as those under the $150 million Moon to Mars initiative.

The agency is particularly seeking comment from those planning missions focused on R&D, developing enabling technologies for space exploration and that promote potential for commercial technology transfer, according to an announcement of the call.

So, if you’ve got designs on space, respond to the consultation on space industry missions by September 7.
