The Future of Place Summit aims to be a day filled with critical discussion, knowledge sharing and networking around the intersection of people, place technology and data.

The Australian Association for Unmanned Systems’ ‘RPAS in Australian Skies 2022’ conference aims to continue discussion on the safe integration of RPAS into Australian airspace. It is supported by key government and industry participants and has established itself as a landmark event in the Australian RPAS calendar.
The 2022 themes will cover:

The conference will be a hybrid event incorporating face to face (live) and online (virtual) choices for participants. It will also include the AAUS Gala Dinner featuring the AAUS Industry Awards.
The National Surveying Congress will be an opportunity for leaders in the surveying profession to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the profession. The 2022 Congress theme is ‘Automatic Mutual Relaxation’.
As the profession comes to understand the impact of Automatic Mutual Recognition for surveyors across the country, the event will provide an opportunity for surveyors from across Australia to gather and discuss the issues facing the profession and the opportunities for the future. The highlight of the program each year is the Cadastral Leaders Panel which sees all the Surveyors-General on stage speaking about changes and opportunities in their states and territories as well as an update from ICSM and ANZLIC. In 2024, the International GNSS Service (IGS) will celebrate 30 years of operational service, having commenced on 1 January 1994.
The University of Bern together with the partners from the CODE consortium — AIUB: Astronomical Institute of the University of Bern; swisstopo: Swiss Federal Office of Topography; BKG: Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy, Germany; IAPG/TUM: Institute for Astronomical and Physical Geodesy, Technical University of Munich — invites the GNSS community to celebrate the IGS’ third decade with a symposium and workshop in Bern, Switzerland.
The in-person event is planned for the week from 1 to 5 July in 2024 and will take place in two parts: symposium (1-4 July) and workshop (4-5 July).
The IGS is a service of the International Association of Geodesy (IAG), its Global Geodetic Observing System (GGOS), The International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG), and a network member of the International Science Council (ISC) World Data System (WDS).
