GIS User tells us of an interactive Japan Trends Map from ESRI, that shows aggregated reports or reports categorized by property damage, hazards, evacuations, power outages, or help/services available.

Google Maps Mania has a link to some interactive satellite imagery, contrasting areas before and after the quake.

And, in other earthquake news, Mibazaar has put together a Google Map that shows geotagged YouTube videos from the Japan Earthquake.

The Map Room Blog has a piece on grassroots mapping, where people are creating inexpensive, home-made aerial photographs.

If UNSW's warning on GPS Jammers had you interested, GIS Longe points us to an article in New Scientist that talks of the havoc that GPS jammers are wreaking.

And, finally, if you need to quickly geocode and create a public map, GIS Lounge has a guide to create a quick Google map from a spreadsheet using Batchgeo.com
