Early phases of Australian Government data infrastructure investment were driven by excitement around innovation and enthusiasm towards adopting the shiniest new systems available.

However, it is believed that current practices have led to the Federal Government alone sitting on $16 billion per year of unrealised value from data investment. As a result, there is now a growing focus on value driven adoption of big data analytics.
