23 November: DI-DPI-15-642; Survey, Design and Environmental Assessment of Mooloomoon Water Efficiency Scheme. NSW Department of Primary Industries New South Wales.

The proposed system will extract water from the Edward River through approximately 16km of pipeline (size to be determined) to eight(8) 22,500L poly tanks which will supply concrete troughs.

The system will be designed to deliver a maximum supply of water to a mob of 4,000DSE rotating between paddocks serviced by the scheme and a 10,000L/day domestic demand.  The area to be watered by this scheme is approximately 8,680ha. It is also proposed to upgrade the existing power supply and provide solar energy to supplement power to the new pump installed on the river.

The survey work required to be undertaken must be sufficient to perform a detailed design.

Naracoorte Lucindale Council is seeking tenders for pre-design analysis of the Naracoorte Public Library.  Naracoorte is located in the Limestone Coast Region of South Australia.    Council recognised the need to understand the community’s needs, demands and aspirations with respect to the library service offered in the district and what services the community believes a library needs to offer to service their needs now and over the next 20-30 years.  In the first half of 2015 consulation was undertaken.   The objective of the pre-design analysis is to determine how the community’s desired immediate and future serivce levels can be translated into spatial requirements by undertaking a pre-design analysis of the current building and proposing options for a long term solution.

hA is seeking to review options for Utilities Management Software on behalf of the DHB. hA invites suppliers who are familiar with this market to provide information in response to this RFI.

The objective of this RFI is for hA to better understand the market for Utilities Management Software, which includes water, waste, electricity and gas management with an Invoice management module. hA also wishes to understand the services of existing and potential suppliers, and the impact of technological change on the market. hA would also like to understand solutions that would ideally enable the DHB to manage the utilities from a central location for multiple sites.

Ideally the solutions would be able to:

  1. Monitor utilities usage from a central location.
  2. Accurately and continuously record data for later analysis.
  3. Detect anomalies and can notify staff when certain criteria is breached within the system.
  4. Track Invoices that are verified as containing correct rates and automatically send to the specified approval manager.
  5. Interface with existing utilities management systems.

The LINZ Data Service (LDS) is an award winning service established in 2011 to publish mainly spatial data in order to unlock benefits from its wide reuse. LINZ is seeking registrations from suppliers with pre-existing web publishing services capable of publishing spatial formats, with the intention of selecting two suppliers to provide proposals in a closed RFP. This will be a Syndicated Contract meaning LINZ will establish a contract with the successful respondent that other New Zealand Government agencies can access, removing some of the barriers to establishing their own LDS type data service.

This Syndicated Contract opportunity is for publishing mainly spatial data with associated tables. Data preparation services and publishing solely tabular datasets or databases are out of scope of this procurement.
