GIS in Local Government Day is joining forces with the Local Government Information Technology South Australia (LGITSA) Annual Conference in early November.

GIS in Local Government Day brings together geospatial professionals, GIS practitioners, spatial data specialists and local government staff who have an interest in mapping, spatial analysis and location-based technologies.

This year, as part of the LGITSA Annual Conference (5-6 November), the event will take place on the afternoon of Friday, 6 November.

Delivered in partnership with the broader conference, the afternoon program will explore innovation, best practice, emerging technologies and real-world applications of GIS within local government.

The event will provide an opportunity to connect with fellow spatial professionals, share experiences and learn from other practitioners.

Priced at just $99 per person, registration includes Friday afternoon networking drinks and afternoon tea.

Delegates can also register for the wider conference if they wish, and gain access to an expanded program of technology, cyber security, information management and digital transformation content.

When: Friday, 6 November 2026, from 12:30pm

Where: Amora Hotel Adelaide, 233 Victoria Square, Adelaide
