SimActive has announced the release of Version 11 of its Correlator3D software, now updated with Gaussian splatting.

The new version enables users to generate high-quality Gaussian splat models directly from their imagery, visualise them efficiently, and perform edits as needed.

Gaussian splatting enables the creation of photorealistic 3D views with exceptional detail and smooth rendering. The new capability in Correlator3D Version 11 delivers visually impressive results in Correlator3D that go beyond traditional photogrammetric outputs.

According to SimActive, Version 11 gives users a practical way to produce high-quality 3D content with stunning visual fidelity while maintaining full control within a familiar photogrammetric environment.

Correlator3D is a patented end-to-end photogrammetry solution for the generation of high-quality geospatial data obtained from satellite and aerial imagery (including drones). It performs aerial triangulation and produces dense digital surface models, digital terrain models, point clouds, orthomosaics, 3D models, Gaussian splat models and vectorised 3D features.
