It’s now less than two months until the region’s geospatial experts converge on the Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore for the annual Geo Connect Asia conference.
This long-running event has become the region’s essential meeting place for all those interested in the latest geospatial, location intelligence, autonomy and uncrewed solutions and technologies.
This year’s event will be held across two days, 31 March and 1 April, and is expected to attract around 3,000 delegates in person.
Multiple events in one
The 2026 main conference theme, Geospatial + autonomy in the age of AI, will seek to match practitioners from the user community with policymakers and the broader community to deliver outcomes to advance the value of the industry.
The conference comprises seven components:
- Indoor Mapping Forum 2026
- The Innovation Stage 2026
- GNSS Asia Executive Circle 2026
- Geo Smart Mining 2026 Forum
- Geo Autonomy Summit 2026
- Digital Underground Connect
- The Tech Talk Stage 2026
Not only that, but there are three other co-located conferences/exhibitions happening at the same time in the same venue:
Mining in focus
New for 2026 is the Geo Smart Mining 2026 Forum component, which will see the region’s mining experts from industry, government and academia come together to discuss and debate current concerns and challenges in the mining sector.
In particular, topics to be discussed will include using geospatial technology to unlock new mining provinces, and how GIS and remote sensing can be used for the smarter and faster opening and operation of mines.

Plus, there’ll be sessions on ‘building the digital mine,’ by employing geospatial systems to develop safer and more efficient daily operations and automation of workflows.
Finally, there’ll be discussion about how geospatial can benefit the entire mining ecosystem in an integrated way, from ‘pit to port’.
Australian geospatial businesses with expertise in the mining sector and who would like to be involved, should reach out to the organisers.
Tech on show
The overall event will also include an extensive exhibition featuring many dozens of companies and government agencies, covering the whole gamut of geospatial technologies and solutions.
Exhibition and sponsorship opportunities are still available, for which interested parties should contact meishyan.boo@montgomerygroup.com.
For visitors and delegates, there is a wide range of registrations and passes available, from full-event passes to student registration and complimentary trade passes.
In summary, Geo Connect Asia has something for everyone in the geospatial sector and allied fields such as construction, mining and exploration, government, disaster and emergency and more.
