As we come to the end of another year, Spatial Source and Position magazine would like to thank our editorial contributors, our advertisers and especially you, the reader, for all the support you have given us during the year.

Position magazine’s final issue for the year is out and about, and once again features our annual Leaders Forum, in which we ask geospatial experts to look into their crystal ball and prognosticate on what’s to come over the next 12 months. Position is available only by subscription, so please head to our subscription page to sign up.

We’re looking forward to two big events next year — the Locate25 conference and the FIG Working Week 2025 conference, both of which will be held jointly in Brisbane in April. Registration is about to open, so please keep your eyes peeled for details.

We’ll be taking a break now until Monday, 6 January, when we’ll return to continue keeping you up to date with all the latest news and developments in the geospatial sector.

In the meantime, we’ll be bringing you a ‘Best of’ selection of articles published during 2024, in case you might have missed them or would like to read them again.

We wish you a safe and merry festive season, and a happy and prosperous New Year.
