Intermap Technologies eyes new distributors

Intermap Technologies is looking for new distribution partners in Australia, following its previous distributor Apogee going under last month.

The company will no longer have an exclusive distribution deal with any one firm, as it did with Apogee, but will look to a number of different distributors to target different market sectors, Intermap regional sales manager Andrew Bashfield told Spatial Source.

“We’re in talks with other distributors at the moment and hope to be able to make an announcement soon,” he said.

Intermap emailed clients this week to inform them of impending changes.

“Rest assured, we will continue to add to our partner team here in Australia to ensure that, jointly, we deliver the most cost-efficient map data and geospatial solutions available to meet your unique project requirements in a timely manner,” the email says.

Apogee could not be reached for comment.
