While ESA, NASA and JAXA spend millions on satellites that can for seemingly no reason cease to operate, unmanned aerial technologies are advancing at such a rate that drones may soon be able to fully replace satellite functionality, well according to Inverse anyway. How UAVs can replace satellite navigation constellations remains a mystery to me.

And finally, a bit of a mystery for you. Fairy circles are unexplained phenomena that first appeared in Namibia, but Atlas Obscura have recently located them in Western Australia. Is it the touch of magic or just “that plants self-organize into these mysterious patterns.”?
