Queensland Spatial Excellence Awards

The Queensland Spatial Excellence Awards Gala Dinner was held on 9 October at the Rainforestation Nature Park in Kuranda, Cairns. The awards rewarded the best & brightest of Queensland spatial sciences, specifically the following winners:

Environment and Sustainability: James Cook University – Project  3DGBR.

Export: Bennett + Bennett –Fiji .

Innovation and Commercialisation:  Land Solution Australia – Southpoint Survey Monitoring.

People and Community:  PSBA -Public Safety Business Agency – Emergency Vehicle Priority.

Spatial Enablement:  Atherton Tablelands GIS – Qube Logistics EasyFind Directory.

Technical Excellence: Dialog – Google Earth Private Globe.

SIBA Chairman Award: THG – Project Flagstone Pilot.

J. M. (Mac) Seriser:  James Cook University – Project  3DGBR.
