WASSIC 2011 coming up soon

The 2011 Western Australian Surveying and Spatial Information Conference will be held on 20-21 June at the Burswood Entertainment Complex in Perth, WA.
 
The conference aims to put on show all the spatial expertise that WA has to offer, with an emphasis on the development of the resource sector.
 
This year, for the first time, the conference will include an exhibition area featuring a range of suppliers and industry sponsors.
 
The conference will feature all of the SSSI commissions, including the surveying and spatial elements of mining, engineering, hydrography, cadastral, cartography, photogrammetry and remote sensing.
 
The conference will have two streams: cadastral spatial, and mining, engineering and surveying. Each of the streams will have a host of speakers, including Kelvin Brown, Ron Gibson, the Honourable Wendy Duncan MLC, and Don Abbey.
