Topcon releases new Field Tools for Arcpad

Topcon Positioning Systems (TPS) has released the newest version of Field Tools for ArcPad to support the latest generation of ArcPad (v10.0) and Topcon’s hand-held mobile mapping system GRS-1.
 
The new version of Field Tools for ArcPad allows customers with Esri ArcPad to take full advantage of the GRS-1 functionality provided by its internal modem and camera.
At the same time, they have access to convenient GPS configurations such as the high accuracy network RTK.
 
The software upgrade also allows any customisation a customer has in ArcPad to be used on a Topcon GRS-1.
 
Notable features of Field Tools for ArcPad include:
  • ESRI AXF format support
  • decimeter and centimeter network RTK support
  • geoid implementation (.gff file usage)
  • SBAS satellite display support
  • GRS-1 barcode scanning.
