23 May: PSC-2622; Surveying Services; Transport for NSW. TfNSW seeks a professional services contractor who is an experienced, accredited surveyor to provide services for property definition and further engineering design. The work is part of pre-construction planning and design phase for the Maldon to Dombarton Rail Link. The services include: property boundary survey, preparation of deposited plans, aerial, topographic detail survey, underground utility service locating and establishment of a project survey control network. In addition, the contractors may be required to provide ongoing surveying services for the duration of the works.

3 June: DSDIP207713; Comprehensive Hydrologic Assessment; Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning, Qld. The department is seeking offers for a comprehensive hydrologic assessment, as part of the Brisbane River Catchment Flood Study. The purpose of the study is to provide an up-to-date, consistent, robust and agreed set of methodologies (including hydrologic and hydraulic models) and flood estimation for the catchment. It is anticipated that the study will provide much of the technical data/information/knowledge about flood flow behaviour and characteristics across various sections of the entire catchment, and flood levels in lower Brisbane River and tributaries. It would be the basis, upon which subsequent floodplain management studies and plans would be prepared. A site visit will be held in Brisbane on 14 May.
