12 June: DMOLSD/RFI0013/2013; Tactical Range Extension System; Defence Materiel Organisation – Land Systems Division [Aust]. The Commonwealth is seeking comments from industry regarding a tactical range extension system to be used by Australian Defence Force. Specifically, it seeks comment on the technical feasibility of the proposed capability, including its concept of operation and the maturity of existing solutions.

13 June: PSC-2647; Control System Resources; Transport for NSW. TfNSW is tendering for 19 contract positions of various specific competencies to be placed into the RailCorp/Sydney Trains control system team on contract for fixed duration to support the design work for the South West Rail Link, Northern Sydney freight corridor, LGCUP, clearways and a myriad of system upgrades. Communications & Control Systems delivers the operational systems for train control, rail communications and condition monitoring systems via the utilisation of supply contracts, turnkey contracts or in-house resources. Due to the current and future workload in railway projects, additional C&CS resources are required.

29 May, 2014: FIN11/APP034-C; Data Centre as a Service: Multi Use List for Cloud, Cloud-Like and Managed Computing Services [re-advertised]; Australian Government Information Office. AGIMO is inviting organisations to submit applications for inclusion to join the DCaaS Multi Use List. The MUL will be open to FMA Act agencies and CAC Act agencies, as well as Australian state and territory governments and other Commonwealth bodies. The purpose of the MUL is to create a method of supplying Cloud and Cloud-Like services to agencies. The three basic types of cloud service offerings available through the MUL are: Software as a Service; Platform as a Service; and Infrastructure as a Service, as defined by the Cloud Computing Strategic Direction Paper.
