Consultancy Services for the specialist bridge advice, safety review and management options for pedestrians and vehicles.
Blue Mountains City Council (Council) is seeking the services of a suitably qualified consultant to undertake investigation; review and documentation work to assist Council to identify deficiencies in the approaches, road carriageway and pedestrian areas at these locations, to assess and prioritise any identified deficiencies, and develop an appropriate program for potential mitigation treatments. This program will assist Council to determine an acceptable level of safety and direct future priorities and actions relating to pedestrian and vehicle access on bridges across the LGA.

15 May: RMS.15.3606.0780; M7 to The Northern Road Motorway Strategic Route Options Analysis. Roads and Maritime Services, NSW.

Professional services contractors are invited to submit a Registration of Interest (ROI) to undertake strategic route options analysis for the proposed route alignment of the M7 to The Northern Road Motorway between Cecil Park and Luddenham. The motorway forms part of the Western Sydney Infrastructure Plan (WSIP) that supports the proposed Western Sydney Airport, South West Growth Centre and Broader Western Sydney Employment Area.

The key objectives of the study are to:
• Collate and review existing data in the study area to enable determination of a list of possible alignments for the M7 to The Northern Road Motorway between Cecil Park and Luddenham
• Identify any additional information required for the study
• Undertake a documented assessment process to determine a short list of strategic design options to present to the community for consultation
• Undertake a more detailed documented assessment process, including consideration of community feedback, to determine a preferred route for the M7 to The Northern Road Motorway

Successful applicants will be expected to attend a pre-tender meeting on Friday 29 May 2015, 10am at the RMS Parramatta office (27 Argyle Street Parramatta 2150). Attendance is mandatory in order to submit a conforming tender.

19 May: DEWNR027397; The Provision of Concept Design, Final Design and Design Services for the SARFIIP Pike Floodplain Inundation Measures Project. Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources, South Australia.

This Request for Tender seeks to secure the services of a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to provide infrastructure design services for the Pike Floodplain Inundation Measures Project located near Paringa in the South Australian Riverland region.

The main services to be provided are:
• Infrastructure Design including Concept Design and Final Design,
• Supporting documentation including Construction Technical Specification, Operations and Maintenance Manual, Construction Cost Estimates and Construction Schedule,
• Design Investigations including geotechnical investigations, engineering survey, hydraulic modelling and environmental site investigations, and
• Design Support Services including tender phase support and construction phase support.

This work is part of the South Australian Riverland Floodplains Integrated Infrastructure Program (SARFIIP) and will develop the designs for surface water management infrastructure including blocking banks, environmental regulating structures, access tracks and complementary surface water management infrastructure.

A compulsory briefing session will be held at Bert Dix Park, Lock 5 Road, Paringa at 5 May 2015 10:30 AM. Tenderers attending the briefing are required to register with the contact officer listed on the front cover of the Request for Tender 24 hours prior to the briefing time and date.
