19 July: PIRSA024343; Biosecurity Emergency Management System; Primary Industries and Regions SA.  PIRSA seeks information to investigate the feasibility of hosting a Biosecurity Emergency Management System. The current system is approaching the end of its supported life. The hosted environment is based on the Microsoft SharePoint platform with the Department of Environment and Primary Industries (DEPI) Victoria developed application known as MAX. The proposed system may be hosted external to the SA Government network. The system will be used during biosecurity incidents to provide for the collection and collation of field and laboratory data, the reference and mapping of registered properties and livestock, the tracing of animals and materials to and from suspected infected properties, and the production of status reports.
