3 September: CS7320; Automated Infrastructure Plan System Capability Re-Platform; SA Water Corporation. SA Water seeks information. The corporation is a member of the Association of Australian Dial Before You Dig Services. It relies on these services a primary method of protecting its assets from damage by third parties during excavation works. The AIPS is a platform to respond to the Dial Before You Dig requests, but the system must now be migrated to a new supported platform, which improves the corporation’s ability to respond to DBYD requests. The new solutions must interface with SA Water’s ArcGIS system for generating maps showing SA Water managed and owned underground assets utilising the information contained in the DBYD request.

5 September: 4529; Sea Trials – Kellian Line Setter; Department of Conservation, NZ. This project forms part of the Conservation Services Program, and continues a long term series of research. The objective is to test the at-sea feasibility, and to the extent possible, the effectiveness, of reducing the availability of hooks to seabirds by using the improved Kellian line setter, in inshore bottom longline fisheries. The services will involve at sea testing and data collection on board commercial bottom longline vessels and subsequent analysis of data.

17 September: NRC Tender 13/07; Coastal Erosion Hazard Zone Assessment; Northland Regional Council, NZ.  Professional services are sought to develop and deliver assessments for selected northland sites. Services include data collation, checking/correction and preliminary data assessment. Also included is collation of all pre-existing data; purchase and collation of data from third parties to fill data gaps; processing, checking and correction of data to verify accuracy; site inspections to collate data and assess local conditions. It is envisioned that as a minimum, the consultant will undertake field data collection and site assessment for each site specified. Deliverables include reference shoreline data provided in ESRI ArcMap format (Datum 2000, NZTM projection).
