It relies on these services a primary method of protecting its assets from damage by third parties during excavation works. The AIPS is a platform to respond to the Dial Before You Dig requests, but the system must now be migrated to a new supported platform, which improves the corporation’s ability to respond to DBYD requests. The new solutions must interface with SA Water’s ArcGIS system for generating maps showing SA Water managed and owned underground assets utilising the information contained in the DBYD request.
