28 May: SWCDoc13/13046; Supply and Install Fish Passive Integrated Transponder Tag Readers; State Water Corporation, NSW. Tenders are sought for this project at the new Beavers Creek weir. The major elements are: supply and install the fish tag reading system – [Passive Integrated Transponder tags (PIT) system], which is capable of collecting, storing and transmitting the data [the fishway is made out of steel and requires a 5 reader system]; and maintain the system and supply data after installation for a period of two years. SW is looking for a system that is well supported to meet future requirements, such as extension to other fishways.
