2 July: DTIRIS13/22; Pre-Construction Survey of Potential Meter Sites; NSW Office of Water. The NSW Metering Project aims to measure a minimum of 95% of extractions in any water source. NSW has implemented thresholds whereby meters do not need to be installed on small diversion points. Thresholds will need to be determined for each water source independently. The consultant will be required to collect data for the potential unregulated and groundwater meter sites and to ensure that the data collected for regulated river meter sites is consistent with the project objectives. The main objectives: gain an accurate understanding of the number and size of potential meter installations in each water source in the Murray Darling Basin; provide additional site details to allow a detailed construction estimate to be developed; identify sites compliant with the national metering standard; add to the existing database to that it captures all remaining potential meter sites in the NSW MDB. The consultant will also identify potential sites in each water source and ensure and ensure the information in the database with respect to those sites is current. NOTE: A mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held in Parramatta [date and time to be advised].
