The CEO of the Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI), Roger Buckley, has tendered his resignation.
The SSSI Board received the following announcement from Roger:
“I would like to advise the members of SSSI that I have decided to pursue a different path in my life which does not include working for the Institute. Over the past few months my health and wellbeing is such that I need to have a change of direction. My departure from the Institute will take place on Friday 6 March.
My departure is an amicable arrangement with the SSSI Board and I thank them for the support and the opportunities that have been provided me during the last several years. I have enjoyed my tenure with the Institute and wish it continued success.” – Roger Buckley
In an email announcement to SSSI members, SSSI president, John Trinder, stated the following:
“The Board wishes Roger well in his future endeavours. The Board will be making further announcements in the near future of arrangements in the National Office to ensure that it continues to serve the members throughout Australia.”
Similarly, the entire team at SpatialSource and Position magazine thank Roger for his past contributions to SSSI and Position Magazine, and wish him all the best for the future.
