Septentrio has announced its new line of AsteRx-m3 GNSS OEM boards will receive its SECORX-S sub-decimeter correction service.

If those acronyms are confounding, not to worry — the news just means that the new line of dual-antenna GNSS receivers will achieve sub-decimeter accuracy from power-on without the need for subscriptions, according to Septentrio.

“With the AsteRx-m3 Sx we combine our latest GNSS innovations of the AsteRx-m3 family with the convenience of the SECORX-S always-on corrections, all in the same product,” said Danilo Sabbatini, Product Manager at Septentrio.

“This offers higher reliability and operational efficiency to our customers, at an even lower cost.”

The AsteRx-m3 Sx receives its corrections via the internet or L-band satellites, and uses American GPS, European Galileo, Russian GLONASS, Chinese BeiDou, Japan’s QZSS and India’s NavIC for positioning.
