GISSA has announced that registrations are open for the upcoming 2026 online A-SPEC National Forum series.

According to GISSA, this year’s A-SPEC National Forum series will explore the latest developments in A-SPEC while also examining one of the biggest forces shaping the profession — AI.

From smarter data capture and validation through to emerging AI-powered workflows, this year’s forums will explore how technology is transforming the way infrastructure information is created, managed and utilised.

According to GISSA, the key objective of the A-SPEC specifications is to record and provide as-constructed digital data in a GIS-ready format.

The 2026 A-SPEC National Forum Series will begin on Thursday, 1 October 2026 and continue into the following week, with each daily program focusing on a different A-SPEC specification.

The series will conclude with the annual A-SPEC Showcase, bringing together key insights, case studies and industry perspectives.

New for 2026 will be a virtual A-SPEC Innovation Workshop, held on Thursday 12 November, the week following the A-SPEC Showcase. This collaborative session is intended to bring the A-SPEC community together to explore challenges, opportunities and priorities.

Registration and other details can be found here.
