In February, UNSW will host an intensive 2-day workshop targeted directly at professional users starting at GPS basics and moving through to the latest GNSS augmentations.
The workshop will cover GPS positioning modes; carrier phased based positioning; error sources and how to avoid them; real time kinematic; network RTK; CORS; PPP; Ausgeoid09; new guidelines and regulations; operations and pitfalls; AUSPOS; the impact of all the new GNSS signals.
There will be hands-on exercises in a computer lab, and a showcase outdoors of the latest technology from local suppliers.
The hosts, Craig Roberts and Simon McElroy, bring over 20 years of experience each to this workshop and present the material in a unique and interactive style.
The two-day workshop will run from the 14-15 February 2013, and attracts 12 CPD points.
