The Queensland Surveying and Spatial Conference (QSSC) 2012, 13-14 September.
The conference will focus on emerging trends from the wider user community and industry that enable us to succeed in an online interoperable world. Specifically it will address surveying and spatial information topics for:
  • Open source projects
  • Open software, interfaces and web services
  • Open data access
This is the year of our biennial Queensland Surveying and Spatial Conference 2012, and we are looking forward to an exciting event on 13-14 September 2012! It will be held at the Convention and Exhibition Centre in Southbank, a great location for exploring this fascinating precinct.  Do think of making a long weekend of it, bringing the family to enjoy an event at the Performing Arts Centre, visiting the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA), taking the kids to the Southbank Beach, and exploring the many  eateries of all description. So mark it on the calendar now! There’s plenty of reasonably priced accommodation in South Brisbane and West End, a stone’s throw from the BCEC.
