OMNILINK has released a new version of its spatial metadata management solution, Omniscient.

Omniscient makes it easier for organisations to search out and catalogue spatial data, decide which version is the central source, create metadata to a standard, and present this data to many users.

OMNILINK has developed Omniscient as a server-based solution available to multiple users and configurable as business needs change.

The Omniscient suite of tools contains three components:

Omniscient Harvester scans, mines and extracts metadata across files, file systems and databases to produce an inventory of spatial and associated data.

Omniscient Sifter utilises the output from the Harvester to sort and identify the inconsistencies within the data inventory such as duplicates, data orphans, multiple versions.

Omniscient Metadata Manager is a web enabled application that provides enterprise deployment of metadata for the purposes of discovery.
OMNILINK is hosting a launch event in Canberra on Wednesday 10th November from 9am at the Rydges Lakeside Hotel.  Interested parties can register here.
