NSW Regional Conference program released

The NSW Regional Conference 2015 – coordinated by SSSI NSW and the ISNSW Hunter Manning Group – will be held on 20-21 November 2015 at Mercure Hunter Valley Resort.  The theme of this year’s conference “Technology Beyond the Map” will focus on how surveying and spatial science professionals use technology such as LiDAR, UAV, BIM, GIS, Laser Scanning and 3D Models in their professions.

This year’s Conference will also be incorporating the annual Hunter Manning Group October Engineering Surveying Seminar.

It will also include a James Bond Themed Entertainment Evening on the Friday night which includes a 3 course meal inclusive of drinks and entertainment. Day 1 only or Day 2 only Registrations are available.

The newly released program features two keynote presentations:

  • A/Professor Dr. Linlin GE, UNSW – Nepal Earthquake Ground Deformation as Observed by the Japanese satellite ALOS-2 (See  Spatial Source article “Australian researchers predicted Nepal quake”)
  • Brenton Ray, Land and Property Information – Surface Model Enhancement Project
