Nominations for Earth Observation Australia’s 2024 Earth Observation Australia Awards are now open.

The 2024 awards will build on the success of the 2022 awards by recognising individuals and organisations who are building the Australian Earth observation community and its capabilities.

The awards are open to individuals, groups, companies and organisations involved in research, teaching, production, supply or application of Earth observation in any sector within Australia.

Nominations are open for three awards:

  • Significant contribution to the development of the Australian Earth observation community and its capabilities.
  • Early-career contribution to the development of the Australian Earth observation community and its capabilities.
  • Innovation in Earth observation made by a group, company or organisation.

Nominations close Friday, 19 July 2024, with the winners to be announced on 12 September at the Advancing Earth Observation Forum in Adelaide.
