New appointment to focus on spatial data for business

OMNILINK has appointed Margreet van de Werfhorst as its senior data account manager, based in Sydney.
 
Margreet will work across all of OMNILINK’s lines of business to promote the value of spatial data and its integration with business applications. Margreet has many years of experience within Australia and overseas including most recently with Map Data Sciences and prior to that MapInfo Australia, Honeywell (Bull) and IBM Canada.
 
“This breadth of expertise and experience, not only with spatial data but with its integration with business, will provide OMNILINK with the focus for ensuring that ‘location-based content’ is a key value-add to all of our projects,” said David Bruce, managing director of OMNILINK.
 
“Our appointment of Margreet will allow for us to build on a strong set of foundations in the area of spatial data and to push further into new markets and opportunities both within Australia, New Zealand and internationally.”
