Western Australia-based survey and spatial solutions specialist McMullen Nolan Group (MNG) has joined forces with leading Victorian surveying group Heading & Associates, to establish a new joint venture – MNG Heading.

Based in Kensington, Victoria, MNG Heading will see the complementary expertise of both companies amalgamated to unlock future business opportunities throughout Victoria and eastern Australia.

Scott Anderson, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of MNG, says he is excited about the business possibilities that lie ahead.

“Heading & Associates brings a strong infrastructure portfolio to the table plus local land development experience covering a wide client base,” says Mr Anderson. “MNG balances this nicely with its brand, industry experience and knowledge.”

Maurice Heading, Managing Director of Heading & Associates, says the joint venture is a strategic step for both organisations to capitalise on the growth of eastern Australia, particularly in Victoria which has witnessed exceptional growth rates in the past few years, with Melbourne forecast to surpass Sydney’s population by 2056.

“Our focus now in relation to our newly formed business is firmly on providing a highly customised service to new and existing land developers across Victoria.” he says.
