Australian digital mapping firm KartaSoft has taken out two awards at this month’s Sydney Water Innovation Festival.

In a Shark Tank-like competition, KartaSoft received both the People’s Choice Award for Customer Experience Shark’s Choice Award.

“Well done to KartaSoft, great to see overwhelming alignment between the People’s Choice and the Sharks. KartaSoft you deserve this recognition today,” said Kathy Hourigan, Sydney Water’s General Manager.

“This spotlight on Australian innovation comes at a time when we are preparing our launch to North America where the problems around mapping are compounded,” said James Worsfold, KartaSoft’s CEO.

The Innovation Festival, twinned with Northumbrian Water in the UK, brought together customers, community, academia, government, industry partners and key stakeholders.
