International Women’s Day 2025 is coming up on Saturday, 8 March, and to celebrate we have interviewed three geospatial professionals from around Australasia.

Our interviewees each have very different roles within the wider geospatial sector, from advocating on international land equity matters to mapping the ocean floor.

Their various career trajectories are perfect demonstrations of the extent to which the geospatial sector is relied upon by the whole of society for the provision of essential services.

We encourage you to read each interview in full:

And it’s not too late to register to attend one of the Geospatial Council of Australia’s International Women’s Day breakfasts being held on Friday, 7 March.
