GITA 2011 approaches

The GITA 16th Annual Geospatial Solutions Conference, hosted by the Geospatial Information & Technology Association ANZ, is being held from 8-10 August 2011 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
 
This year’s conference has the theme ‘Intelligent Infrastructure … Anything, Anywhere, Anytime’, and a program focused on Mobility, Transportation, Subsurface Utility Engineering, Oil & Gas Mining, Smart Grid, NBN and Cloud Computing.
 
The conference attracts a strong contingent of geospatial professionals from a broad range of sectors. Plenary and invited speakers represent Australian and New Zealand infrastructure and cover a wide range of fields including utilities (electricity, water, gas, waste water, telecommunications), mining, oil and gas, sea and air ports, rail and road transportation.
 
Alongside the conference, there will be a host of social events providing the opportunity to network with colleagues and industry associates.
