Geoinformatics Forum Salzburg 2012

The programme for GI_Forum 2012 is now available online. This year’s GI_Forum offers full-fledged, intertwined tracks on GIScience & Technology and Learning with a focus on geovisualisation, society and learning, and the inter-relationship between them.
 
The programme includes keynotes, presentations, and discussion sessions, as well as the Young Researchers Forum. The call for Poster Contribution is open until June 6, 2012.
 
A vibrant interdisciplinary GIS community from academia, industry and government is awaiting you to discuss progress and to explore new research directions in GIScience & Technology and Learning with GI. Attend the presentations to be given by prominent keynote speakers Georg Gartner (Vienna University, Austria), Sara Irina Fabrikant (University of Zurich, Switzerland), Alan M. MacEachren (Pennsylvania State University, USA) and Muki Haklay (University College London, Great Britain).

GI_Forum – Call for Posters
A poster contribution can be submitted until June 6, 2012. The best posters will be awarded a prize in a poster award ceremony based on the votes by symposia attendees.
