1Spatial has announced the Australian 2019 FME world tour dates for May.

The 2019 round of the annual conference for the FME user community will roll through Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

The events are a chance to experience a guided tour through the software’s new capabilities, see working case studies from its application in other organisations and network with other users.

This year features a focus on gamification, driven by the latest release’s new augmented capabilities and integration with Unreal Engine.

David Eagle, FME Division Manager at 1Spatial, said that the world tour  events are fundamentally about finding new ways to transform data into useful information.

“This year, there’s a definite gaming vibe to the events but the goal remains the same: using the power of FME’s functionality to develop and integrate data in your data ecosystem. These are always fun and interactive events, so come join us, meet other users, speak to our experts and make your data smarter,” he said.

The 2019 FME world tour will hit Sydney on May 8, Brisbane on May 9 and Melbourne on May 13.
