The first ever Eclipse Developer Day will be held in Sydney, Australia on April 2nd 2014.

There will be a number of interesting sessions, with two in particular targeted towards geospatial tech:

Geographical Map Canvas – GEF based maps presented by Qiangsheng Wang from CISCO Australia;

And The LocationTech Industry Working Group – Projects overview presented by Jody Garnett.

The event will provide a great opportunity for participants to network with a like-minded community of Eclipse developers.

The event is free, but limited to 100 attendees, and registration is compulsory. It will take place on Wednesday 2 April 2014 at Actuate Australia, 100, Walker Street, North Sydney, NSW.

Speaker and sponsorship positions are still available.

The event is presented to you by Carrington Associates. Actuate Australia is co-sponsoring the event with Eclipse Foundation.

For more information, including registration info, visit the Eclipse Wiki.
